Changes in the works…

Well, I’ve been going back and forth between focusing on selling on dan-clark.com vs. on danclark.etsy.com for some time. My shopping cart plugin is pretty buggy, as you may have noticed, and the majority of my sales have been coming from Etsy anyway. I’ve decided to close up the shop here, and focus my selling solely on Etsy for the time being. It takes too much technical know-how to keep my shop open here, and right now I don’t have the time to devote to learning what I need to learn to do it well. But fear not! The blog will still remain, and I’ll be posting about everything I list right here, as well as some behind-the-scenes info on my processes and ideas. Over the next few days, you’ll notice some changes as I remove the shopping cart from the site, and add some Etsy links, etc. I think it’s time for a new theme as well, so hopefully I’ll be able to find something that better defines who I am and what Dan-Clark Designs is.

PLEASE NOTE! If you have coupon codes for the dan-clark.com shop, PLEASE email me if you want to apply it to something in my Etsy shop, so I can adjust the price for you.

   good post- I have been wondering if its worth it to try to sell from my own site (thyme2dream.com)and without trying sort of came up with the same idea-it seemed like it would take a lot of my technical time away from creative time. Thanks for sharing your experience here:)
